A little bit of change

I don't feel like rambling about ED-y things tonight and thought i would share a few of the little things that have really helped with calming me down and cheering me up tonight after i hit a massive FML-wall.

First of all, i have to tell you about Tori Amos. So, i know she was basically big when the dinosaurs were here and that i seriously missed the train (that's totally not the saying but whutevs) on this one. However, i downloaded her discography a few months ago and she is my absolute go to person whenever i need to chill the flipperoo out!
Someone once said to me that they were jealous that i had only just started listening because when they first started, it was one of the best musical discoveries they had ever made. Well, you weren't flingin' flangin' wrong!
You know when you have had a load of therapy and your therapist starts throwing CDs at you? Well, i always used to get the standard ones - you know, dolphin noises and flipping sounds of the jungle and all that shizzle! They always used to stress me the flup out. Seriously, it used to take me from stressed to 'OMG I CAN'T COPE WITH THIS FEELING ANYMORE. I NEED TO RELEASE TENSION hjhdgjhgsdjhgsjhg' and i just couldn't hack it. Well, i think Tori does to me what the therapists were trying to do for so long. She makes me chilly-mcfrilly. I like to sometimes put my Tori playlist on when i know i am going to have a bad night in the sleep department. It doesn't make me sleep any more than usual but it's just nice to wake up to something so calming and beautiful in the wee hours of the morn...;) One of my absolute favourite covers by her was originally by Eminem (who i am also a flipping MASSIVE fan of. Yep. Me so Gee!) and is called '97 Bonnie & Clyde. I have always quite liked this song but i love it even more now that i have heard Tori Amos' cover. Flip the bed, smack my bootie and call me Bobby! She's a beaut.
Come to think of it, i am sure i have posted this beast before but let's just pretend i haven't!

Can you hear that? This is swearing but FUCK ME! It makes me tingle. Lovely how she can take a song that is so different to what she normally sings and make it completely her own. Luvdatshiz.

And finally, a little diamond i found online AGES ago. She makes me smile just because she is just...

Its simple. They're a husband and wife who are the most adorable couple. She started off doing makeup tutorial videos but then they both decided to do daily vlogs.

I love them and they always cheer me up. Might not be to everybody's taste, i understand that, but i dont at the same time... It would baffle me to find out that anybody did not like these two. And Mr. Phoenix too!

So that's that in the life of moi.

Boring, i know. But that's just how i rollz, manz

Oh. And on a side note. I have not done my therapy homework which is meant to be done multiple times a day and am now going to have to try to remember/make-up a week's worth of entries.
