Florida - Day One

Well, there we have it folks. Day one is now over and done with and my oh my, what a bloody long day it has been. We didn't go to bed on Thursday night, simply because we wanted to have the best chance of sleeping on the plane. We slept like babies which is an achievement in itself, considering we can never even sleep on a train or in a car normally. Out of the nine hours we were in the air, we slept for over seven of them.

I slept through both meals (thank flip) and was just generally out of it all the way through.

It has been such a nice start to the holiday. We arrived here at about 1:30pm (local time) and unpacked. We went to the pool, sunbathed and just enjoyed eachother's company. I even managed to eat a plain salad in the tiny little snack bar thing. IN PUBLIC.

Aww. Chantelle is just a delight.

I love her more than life. Simples.
